When you have passed both halves of the required examination, you will receive your passing score report in the form of a license application. Read the instructions carefully. Complete the license application carefully and completely. Submit all documentation for licensure within one year from your original examination registration date together with applicable fees. You will have to submit documentation of ownership, ie: an assumed name certificate or partnership certificate from your local County Clerk's Office or your Articles of Incorporation if you are a Corporation. You will also have to have a credit reporting agency send a credit report directly to the Department. Don't worry . . . you don't need good credit. They will be looking for outstanding court judgements and criminal felony fraud convictions. Your license application will be processed and your license will be sent to you.
